Hi, I'm Annika.
Mudhug is exactly what it sounds like: mud, hugged into something worth holding onto. Every piece is thrown by hand in my Oakland studio, trimmed, glazed, and fired until it's ready to live on someone's shelf.
I make the kind of pottery I want in my own kitchen: tea sets piped like cakes, jars with cherries on top, lamps on ceramic chains, bowls that make breakfast feel like an occasion.
